AHA! I’m not going crazy!

A post from a while back at “The Soul of a Virtual Machine” precisely addressed an issue that cropped up when trying to access the Virtual Server administration website from within a remote desktop connection. We got “The page cannot be displayed” and a 500 server error. They recommend using the server IP instead of the name. Of course, this was after one of our techs decided to get creative with the URLs and found this out on his own. Problem solved!

Bonus: They also address the issue we had with accessing resources with a UNC path from the administration website.
